For some brides and grooms, choosing Hotel Baker requires much thought; to many of the brides and grooms we encounter, it is desired upon setting foot on the property! Hotel Baker is a historic landmark in the community of St. Charles, Illinois. Built in 1928 by Col. Baker, it is a boutique hotel with 53 guest rooms and suites. The hotel boasts of its Rainbow Room equipped with a glass lit floor dating back to 1928. It is manually operated with hues of red, blue, yellow and green. It is not a typical ballroom; it is oval in shape with beautiful windows that look out to the scenic Fox River. The smaller, quaint ballroom is called the Waterfront Room with beautiful Palladian windows overlooking the river views. With marble floors from the late 20's, the room is absolutely a stunning venue for weddings, special events and even business meetings.
